Quality

PREMIUM QUALITY SEAFOOD

With more than 20 years of experience in the field of seafood import, we have been able to establish a very efficient quality control process.
We are committed to offering our customers quality products that meet and exceed the standards set by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.

This is why we have a preventive control plan that is established in 4 steps: the selection of suppliers, the analysis of our products, traceability and customer satisfaction.

Our 4-step process

1

Selection of our
suppliers

All our suppliers have HACCP certification and either BAP, BRC, MSC certification and often several of these.
But the selection of our suppliers does not stop there. It requires rigorous research on our part in Europe, Asia, South America and Africa. Before starting a business relationship with new suppliers, we evaluate the control of their raw material and production processes. We have a quality control team that assists us in qualifying producers and supervising quality on site during processing.

Once all our quality criteria have been met, the supplier is approved.

2

Inspections
and analysis

Once the product arrives in Canada, we ensure that it is inspected and analyzed according to CFIA standards in specialized laboratories to verify that it meets their standards and our specifications. The organoleptic inspection and, if necessary, further analyses allow us to validate that the product corresponds to our selection criteria, which ensure you a high quality product. When this is not the case, the product returns to the supplier or is put in detention for destruction. We only market products that meet and exceed our standards.

3

Traceability

Having developed a specific software for our import requirements, we have established an internal detailed data processing procedure which insures all traceability.

4

Satisfaction of
our customers

When a product does not suit your needs or does not meet our quality criteria, you can be sure to return it to us.
