ARGENTINIAN SHRIMPS FRA DIAVOLO

Ingredients
- 720 g. of peeled and deveined Argentine shrimp.
- 10 ml of salt
- 15 ml of cayenne pepper
- 30 ml of olive oil
- ½ finely chopped Spanish onion
- 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
- 25 ml of vermouth (or dry white wine)
- 450 g. of diced tomato, drained
- 30 ml of chopped fresh oregano
- 30 ml of chopped fresh basil
Preparation
- In a frying pan, heat the oil without smoking it and sprinkle the cayenne pepper.
- Fry for 30 seconds and add onion, garlic and shrimp.
- Cook for 3 minutes on each side and deglaze with vermouth.
- Reduce to almost dry and stir in tomato, basil and oregano.
- Add salt and simmer for one minute.
- Dress up.
