Breaded Pollock Sticks

Ingredients

  • 675 g of sponged pollock fillet, cut into sticks
  • 125 ml all-purpose flour
  • 5 ml onion powder
  • 3 whole eggs
  • 500 ml of panko
  • 660 ml of black sesame seeds
  • Salt, pepper

Preparation

  • Prepare an English-style breading: in a bowl, put the flour, salt and pepper, in a second bowl put the beaten eggs and in a third bowl the panko breadcrumbs and the onion powder.
  • Coat sticks with flour, dip in beaten egg and coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  • Place in deep fryer (375 F) and fry for about 3 to 4 minutes.
  • Drain on a rack for a few moments.
  • Serve
